Kont Diga

Kont Diġa is a full feature film that tells the story of a young free-spirited artist, Karl, that returns to his home island, Malta after being away for a long time. The film tells the story of his personal journey into his roots. Karl relives his old habits with friends and memories from his childhood and he starts to get used to it again. This journey leads him to re-visit his past with his ex-girlfriend Marie who he left before leaving the island years ago however this does not work out. He eventually meets a new friend, Anna, through whom he re-visits his hometown and home in Gozo, now a neglected house full of memories. Anna, through her presence in his life is the springboard for self reflection and a more concrete reason for trying to start again in Malta, this place where hes already been before but now is seeing with different eyes.
