The Pier, Dumaguete (aka ducomi), Philippines [Video 1]

This is a world famous dive site which is now being threatened with complete destruction as the owners of the structure (a concrete pier support by steel columns, used to load and unload ships) need to carry out repair work. The renovation project will involve removing all the life from the vertical columns that has taken many years to develop. I have uploaded the video I shot in April 2009 so that everyone can share in the magic that is The Pier and to allow those that have been fortunate enough to dive the location the opportunity to reminisce over possibly one of the best and most diverse dives sites in the world.
